November Break in Toronto and Niagara Falls

Hyebin Jung & Eva Alperovich

For November Break, boarders who signed up for the Toronto trip had a splendid time. We visited Niagara Falls and took thousands of pictures after being impressed by the amount of water flowing over. Boarders even took elevators that took us to a lower vantage point behind the falls – the scenery was breathtaking! Clifton Hill was another unforgettable experience. It contained a lot of attractions. Boarders visited Movieland Wax Museum, Niagara sky wheel, Dinosaur Adventure Golf, Zombie Attack, and more. Last but not least Skylon Tower (Niagara Falls) and the CN Tower (Tower) were definitely the biggest highlights of the trip. In the Skylon Tower, we actually had our lunch at a revolving dining room restaurant! While we were enjoying our scrumptious lunch, because the restaurant rotates 360 degrees every hour, we could see the whole view near Niagara Falls. We heard that more than 125 km are viewable from the restaurant! Many of us are eager to visit Toronto again because it was such a wonderful experience. We already miss Toronto a lot!

Also, Monday was a day of departure from Toronto. In the morning we ate breakfast, cleaned our rooms and checked out from the hotel. The mood was a bit sad, because no one wanted to leave and at the beginning of the ride back to Ottawa it was very quiet in the bus. We stopped in a nice place “Big Apple” for lunch. This is a paradise of apples. There is plenty of food with apples, such as apple pies, candies, apple chips, etc. It was very delicious, that’s why people were cheered up after, so on the second part of the ride we all talked, laughed and shared memories from the trip! It was so much fun and we all want to thank the boarding stuff community for this wonderful journey!
