Happy Earth Day to all our boarding families across the globe.
Over the April long weekend, many of our boarding students remained on campus and enjoyed a variety of activities ranging from feeding wild animals at Park Omega to feasting on a traditional Canadian Easter dinner. On Monday evening, everyone was reporting that they had a restful, rejuvenating break and were ready to head full steam into another short week.
On Wednesday night, our Gillin and Maple students were active in sports night on campus, playing basketball, volleyball, and badminton. It’s been great to see the athletic interests with our co-curricular program this spring as well; we have our students participating in rugby, soccer, table tennis, and swimming. A special shout-out to our grade 11 boarding council member, Alice, who participated in her first swim meet at Ashbury, bringing home medals in almost each of her events!
We look forward to a weekend of warming weather and more outdoor activities soon to come.
