As we embark on the December break, it is truly hard to believe about a third of the school year has passed. The past night saw our boarders depart every couple hours from 2 am straight through until now and, as busy as this is, makes us grateful that so many can fly home this year to spend quality time with their families. And for those staying back, I know the on-campus and Montebello experience will be fabulous, while others will enjoy time with local friends in Ottawa.

Last weekend we were able to celebrate an energetic, fun-filled Boarding Holiday Dinner, followed by a well-loved Secret Santa gift exchange after in the Gillin common room. Seeing the smiles and hearing laughter was exactly what we all needed to wrap up this tumultuous year.
