This Week in Matthews

Mr. Brian Storosko

Greetings All.

This was a busy week at the school as there were many events related to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation including a formal ceremony with guests and elders from our local Indigenous community (Anishaabe) .

Although we cannot yet have any visitors into Matthews’ House, the boys have been mingling well with day students at school. Also in the photos is a glimpse of a local food truck that we had on campus as a special meal for the students, there was cake to celebrate the September Birthdays (only Uzair) and some kitchen (group baking/cooking) and common room (cards) activities.

Activities….reminder there are a number of locations where you can see what our Boarding students are up to!

There are a few open Edsby Groups where we repost the boarding activities that the students can participate in (Boarding Community, Matthews House). In the Matthews House group, we also post the House Meeting agendas etc.
