This was a festive-oriented week which all began last weekend when a small crew of boys went into the country to a local tree farm to cut down a Christmas tree. The boys were able to saw down three trees that were set up in Gillin Residence, Matthews House, and the Teron Foyer of school.

We had tree decorating in the residence and then a wonderful night Wednesday when the Ashbury Guild supplied each boarding student with a lovely boarding box which was full of edible treats — wow!

On Thursday night, each boy was presented with a “Secret Santa” gift that was purchased by another boarding student. Although we did not get to sit on Santa’s lap this year, there was much laughter and clapping.
