This has been an action-packed week in Matthews. The boys were in residence and online with their classes from Monday to Thursday. In the evenings we had a few Halloween events such as scary story contests, pumpkin carving and haunted house building. The finished jack-o-lanterns looked amazing when lighted and placed outside in our courtyard. We also had many other students enjoying the pool table, ping pong table and computer games. Last weekend, the Grade 9 and 10 boarding students were out in the local environment learning about the Ottawa River watershed. We finished with a walk in the leaves past the local pond.
