Admissions & Application Process

You can apply to Ashbury College by completing an online application through the school’s admissions portal at www.ashbury.ca/admissions. To begin the application process, families must submit all required documentation and pay the application fee. The Admissions Department is also pleased to offer campus tours and student visit days to support prospective applicants throughout the process.

For the Day Program, the First Round of Admissions has a December 1 deadline, with all first-round offers made prior to the December break.

Applications to the Boarding Program are reviewed on a rolling basis until all available spaces are filled.

Once the First Round of Admissions has concluded, the admissions process moves to rolling admissions for all grade levels, meaning applications are reviewed as soon as they are completed.

At Ashbury College, we do not provide scholarships. However, we do offer need-based financial assistance to students who qualify (based on the status of our financial assistance budget).

To apply for financial assistance, we utilize an external entity called Apple Financial to assess a family’s financial status (please note that only students in grades 7-12 are eligible).

Ashbury also offers a small merit-based award program, representing less than 5% of the overall financial assistance budget. These awards are granted to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement or leadership potential.

Ashbury College accepts students in Grades 3 through 12, with Grades 3–8 forming the Junior School and Grades 9-12 the Senior School.

Primary intake years for the Junior School are Grades 3, 4, 6, and 7, with limited availability in other grades depending on space. The Senior School admits both Day and Boarding students, particularly in Grades 9–11, with very limited openings in Grade 12.

Yes – all applicants to Ashbury College are required to complete both an admissions interview and an assessment.

The interview (conducted in person or virtually) allows us to get to know the student beyond their application and to better understand their interests, strengths, and readiness for our program.

All students also complete an admissions assessment (English and Math) appropriate to their grade level. This helps us gain insight into each student’s academic profile and ensures we can best support their success at Ashbury.

Yes, international students are welcome to apply and may be admitted to both the Day and Boarding programs.

All applications are reviewed in accordance with Ashbury College’s admissions guidelines and academic requirements and, where applicable, are also subject to Canadian immigration regulations, including study permit eligibility and supporting documentation.

Please note that tuition fees are the same for both Canadian and international students. For more details, please refer to the tuition section of our Admissions page.
