On Tuesday, April 26, the final set of term grades for our Grade 12 students were transmitted to universities. We hope this final set of grades will bring more positive news to our graduating students who may still be waiting on decisions from their universities.

On Wednesday, April 27 at 7pm– In collaboration with the Business Department and the Alumni/Advancement Office, we hosted our last Education and Career Pathway Panel for this year focused on the area of Business. Students had an opportunity to hear from former Ashbury students who are currently studying business or who are early in their business career and to learn about what led them to what they are currently doing in business since leaving Ashbury.

Earlier today, the University Counselling Office hosted a “Lunch & Learn” Panel Discussion for our Grade 11 students. Our seven panelists from the Class of 2022 were able to offer sound advice and guidance to the Grade 11 students about what to expect of their Grade 12 year and how to handle the application season balanced with a busy final year, as well as how to make sound decisions regarding their final choices.

On Wednesday, May 4 at 4:00pm, the University Counselling Office will hold another presentation in our university series about “Understanding University Scholarship Criteria + Understanding Athletic Aid”.  The presentation will be in Mital after the Wednesday Club block.

I continue to welcome an opportunity to meet with Grade 12 and Grade 11 students and parents to offer counsel for university-related questions and course pathway planning. You can either email me, or as of this week, you may now also schedule an appointment with me using Calendly. Please make note of my Calendly link in my email signature or copy this link for your reference.
