With one week left before the December holidays, the University Counselling elves are busy at work, preparing final academic documents and letters for students and their university applications. Teacher elves are busy writing reference letters in support of some students and their applications, where needed. Student elves are finalizing applications while also balancing a busy week of tests and assignments.

The December holiday is a perfect time for students to focus on supplementary and additional requirements needed for applications. Students should be noting deadlines for these additional pieces and be sure of the process of submitting documents.

December grades will be released on Friday, December 10. Where applicable, these grades will be sent to universities for an early look for application purposes. It is not unusual for students to receive early offers, but these are only for a few universities and programs. The next round of official grades sent to universities will be in February. The majority of offers are made in March, April, and May.

As a reminder, the University Counselling Office will be closed during the December holidays.
