Virtual University Visits This Week Included: IE University, Spain on Monday, November 29 and the University of Calgary on Wednesday, December 1. Students can access slides in OneNote, Guidance Class of 2022 if they were not able to attend.

Students are reminded to have an organized system for documenting their OUAC Reference Number, university usernames, PINS, passwords etc., especially for the multiple applications a student might be completing. Students are also reminded that they need to open the emails they receive from universities and follow the instructions for accessing university portals and following ‘to-do’ instructions within each portal.

Student often spend the December holidays completing supplementary documents, essays, interviews, portfolios, etc. for some universities (only as needed). If this is the case, students are reminded to carefully follow instructions and answer questions specific to the supplementary they are working on for a specific university and should not assume a ‘one-size fits all’ approach.

At this point, informing the University Counselling Office of last-minute applications and requests for teacher/counsellor recommendations, will risk the delay of necessary documents. Students have been communicated this message on multiple occasions.

Any questions about applications can be directed to Sheryl Johnston, Administrative Assistant at and to Donna Naufal Moffatt, Director of University Counselling at
