What a week in Gillin!  We saw 18 of our quarantined students released from their rooms throughout the week, with many being vaccinated right away in hopes of us returning to as normal of living as possible in the coming months. Much appreciation to our wonderful school nurses, Ms. Noonan and Ms. Allen, for their hard work in coordinating quarantine, vaccinations, daily-testing, and the myriad of duties involved in keeping our boarders safe.   

We are all looking forward to the activities scheduled for our “Boarder Welcome Weekend 2.0”, celebrating the addition of our quarantined students to the mix. Paint night, bubble soccer, board games… Engaging activities to connect our students to one another and the school. The boarding council and Mr. Lavergne have done a tremendous job organizing these events and I know it will be a highlight weekend for our community.

It is truly a pleasure to have this wonderful group of students in Gillin this year; the energy has been incredible. We are excited to see new friendships form and our boarders be engaged throughout the school community in a variety of clubs and sports.
