Full hockey gear is required.

Director of Hockey, Grant Clitsome

Grant Clitsome comes to Ashbury College as the Director of hockey skills program. Grant was raised in Ottawa, playing minor hockey for the Gloucester Rangers, Jr. ‘A’ for the Nepean Raiders and then on to the NCAA to pursue a scholarship with Clarkson University. After graduating from Clarkson University, he then went on to enjoy an 8-year professional hockey career with the Columbus Blue Jackets and Winnipeg Jets. After having his NHL career cut short by an injury, Grant started work on an MBA from Queen’s University to complement his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Technology Management from Clarkson University. Grant previously worked in several start-up ventures, as well as working with athletes transitioning to life after sports and wealth management. Grant is a certified Sommelier and works with a local water management company, WMC, in strategy and business development. Outside of hockey, Grant likes to play golf, exercise and spend time outside by the lake.
