Grade 12 students were sent a University Applications Update Form this morning to complete by Monday, January 31 by 4:00pm. The Form requires Grade 12 students to list all their universities and programs to ensure mid-year grades are sent to each university to which a student has applied. It would be helpful if parents can reinforce the deadline for this Form. University mid-year grades will be sent to schools the week of February 7th. Students with an earlier deadline should come by our office to discuss their timelines.
A Diploma Information Form will also go out in early February to Grade 12 students from Ms. Johnston. This Form will be used to confirm the student’s official name on their respective diplomas earned at Ashbury. Stay tuned.

Queen’s Commerce Supplementary Deadline: February 15
Students should continue to pace themselves on the work they are doing for Supplementary Applications. Careful reading of individual deadlines and instructions is important for these pieces of an application.
If students require documentation (transcripts, letters, etc.), they are reminded to email Ms. Johnston sjohnston@ashbury.ca with their request. Students should not expect documentation to be provided at their immediate request. Adequate time is required to prepare documents properly and accurately for universities.
Thank you to Grade 11 students and parents who joined us last night for our Course Selections presentation. The recording can be found on Ashbury’s website in the Parent or Student pages. Individual Grade 11 meetings to review course selections in relation to preliminary university planning ideas will begin in in February. Students should read and follow the Guidelines noted. Students are reminded to begin drafting their course selection in the Class of 2023 Notebook in OneNote. Students may also enter courses into MySchoolApp in advance of meetings to expediate the process. Instructions for using MSA can be found here. Changes can easily be made in the portal while it remains open until March 4.
